PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This Advanced Placement-level presentation looks at the economic and political aspects of the U.S. during the 1920s. It includes American isolationism, nativism, the Palmer Raids, the Sacco and Vanzetti case; it lists the causes of economic growth and the technological advancements that made it possible; it traces the mal-distribution of wealth that would become one of the causes of the Great Depression; it traces the rise of the Republican "Old Guard" and the return of laissez-faire capitalism; and it looks at labor unrest and the decline in union membership. This AP US history presentation can easily be modified for any secondary U.S. history course. Be sure to check out "U.S. History Complete Set, Volume I" and "U.S. History Complete Set, Volume II" for all of Present History's U.S. history presentations.
