You and a friend have entered a contest. Who ever can come up with the ugliest collection of sweaters wins! The uglier the sweater- the more points are allotted! See who will win the title of “The Ugliest Sweater Collector”.
This game is appropriate for 2-3 players. The intended use is in speech and language therapy; however, this game can be tailored towards many other goals. If you have students working on basic addition, turn taking, or as a fun reward- this game may also be appropriate for you.
The students each take turns selecting a card from the "hangers". If the card is a sweater, they add it to their collection. If the card is a "snatch", they may snatch a sweater from one of their opponents. When all of the cards are played, tally up the points using the "judging" points criteria on the game boards. The player with the most points wins the trophy and the title of "The Ugliest Sweater Collector".
Your download includes:
- 1 instructions sheet
- 3 game boards (print as many game boards as there are players)
- 1 "hanger" board (where the cards are laid until played)
- 1 sheet of 16 playing cards (13 sweater cards, 2 snatch cards, 1 trophy)
**all you need is a pair of scissors! You may also want to laminate the boards or put the game boards in page protectors so you can tally the points using a dry erase marker. Just wipe off to re-use!
Just print, cut, and enjoy!
