Explanation of Pack
Roll a Spelling Word- You will need a dice for this activity. Students will roll to find out what spelling word to write. They keep going until all squares are filled.
Homophone Feet- Fill the feet with different
homophones. Put one spelling of the word in one foot, then put the other spelling of the same sounding word in the other foot.
Vocab Flip-Flap- Print these pages back to back. students fold these pages “hot dog” ways. They fill out the flip flap accordingly. If they are struggling with the definition portion, they can look it up in the glossary at the back of their book.
Homophone Booklet- This is a little book students make to help them practice recognizing homophones.
A Giant Pumpkin Writing + Craft- This is an adorable writing project that pairs nicely with the lesson.
Five Fab Tasty Veggies- Student’s list and draw
different vegetables they like.
Spelling + High Frequency Practice-
Proper Noun Foldable- Print sheets back to back. Students fold sheets “hot dog” ways, and fill it out accordingly.
The Ugly Vegetables Tri-Fold- Print these sheets front to back. Students fold it like a brochure. Fill it out about the week’s selection.
