Designed to accompany the Power Point of the same name, this quiz will help your students learn the group of presidents between Washington and Lincoln. With an optional President Word Bank, these first person questions will help bring the Chief Executives to life. An answer key is not provided...you should take the quiz yourself. A pre-test before the Power Point and a post-test after. Monticello or flat broke? Father was president or stranded naked on a river bank? War hero or two pistols misfiring meant to kill him? Which makes it easier to remember?
Why are they unknown? Lesser known might be more accurate for some of them, but who among us can easily zip through presidents 8 to 15? Other than some interesting names, many of these presidents are not very notable. Perhaps because they are overshadowed by Washington and Lincoln, some might argue that only Jackson and Jefferson among them are immune from anonymity.
