These activities are designed to accompany the French film "The Valet" (La Doublure). The film is rated PG-13 so it is suitable for classroom viewing with only minor inappropriate language. There is absolutely no nudity and very minimal sexual content, making it a rarity for French films.
Topics covered in these activities include relationship vocabulary, adjective agreement, common relationship verbs, and the conditional. While the activities were designed for the curriculum of my level III class, they could easily be slightly modified for either higher or lower levels of French as needed.
I have included a step by step lesson plan with this film that guides students through the viewing process. There is a synopsis reading activity, a matching activity with key vocabulary from the film, several viewing activities, and a writing activity for afterwards.
