I love the book "The Very Busy Spider" by Eric Carle! This lesson uses spider webs to play the familiar game "Bingo". Let your students cover words as you pick them, and the first person to fill in one triangle on their web wins. You can also ask your students to fill in one "level" on the spider web, by moving left to right, which would require them to get 8 words to win. This activity includes 6 different game boards and a word list that you can cut out and draw words from. My kids love using this different format to play their favorite game!
