I created this half-page worksheet to go along with the video by Scholastic called “The Wampanoag Way” which features two modern-day girls who teach other people about their Wampanoag ancestry by dressing up in their ancestral clothing and using traditional tools and toys. The video is about 7 minutes long and is great to show around Thanksgiving time.
The video is on YouTube and produced by Scholastic. You can find it here:
In order to keep students accountable, I created a worksheet to fill in the blank as they watched the video. This was an activity that I left with a substitute teacher for my 4th grade students to watch during a 20 minute block we have before recess.
I am sharing this for free because I know how time consuming it can be to create things like this and I want to give back. ☺
Thank you, and enjoy!
