This book, the Wanderings of Odysseus, is a wonderfully succinct version of The Odyssey normally read at a much higher reading level. Written by Rosemary Sutcliff. it tells the story of what happens to Odysseus after the Great Trojan War and the many obstacles that he had to face when trying to return home to his kingdom.
My study guide emphasizes the reading comprehension skills of cause and effect, drawing conclusions, recalling details, and sequencing. There are varied forms of questionning including short and extended responses, T or F, and multiple choice. There are questions for each chapter. The students have the opportunity to write a sports story, write conversation, make up a rap song, draw a comic strip, and tell a narrative. There is also a vocabulary list including page numbers and a vocabulary quiz. Please rate this resource. Thank you. Ellen Gabor, Einstein 1 http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Einstein1
