This is a three part unit by Reading Through History. It documents events which occurred during the War of 1812. The lessons include "The War in the South," "Washington D.C. and Baltimore," and "The Star-Spangled Banner." Each lesson is followed by three pages of student activities which include multiple choice questions, guided reading activities, vocabulary questions, student summaries, and a student response essay question. Each lesson covers about 30 minutes of class time.
**My students typically finish an assignment in around 30 minutes.
