This reader's theater is a fun way to integrate science and language arts. Your students will practice reading fluency, review key facts and vocabulary words of the water cycle, and be exposed to performing arts- all in one!
This reader's theater follows drops of water on their journey to the clouds and back. On the way the water drops transform to water vapor, to water droplets in a cloud, and finally to snowflakes. This reader's theater uses key scientific vocabulary words such as: condensation, evaporation, precipitation, infiltrate, run-off, and aquifer.
This Reader's Theater can be used as a whole class (with 24 parts) OR with a small group (simply combine parts, for example: Water Drop 1, Water Vapor 1, Water Droplet 1, and Snowflake 1 could all be the same part).
