Included is:

A “What I Know” graphic organizer for your students to fill out/color before you teach this unit-this is a great tool for you to see what you need to focus the most on-they also look great to display on your boards or walls once completed!

A drawing page for students to illustrate (and label) a water cycle on.

A water cycle informative writing assignment, with a word bank and a page to print double-sided with for extra writing room. This extra page also has a space for students to illustrate what they have written.

“The Journey of a Raindrop” creative writing activity, which has students pretending to be raindrops on a journey from a cloud to the ground and back again. This also comes with an extra writing sheet for an illustration and more writing space.

An “Acting out a Water Cycle” group skit activity. You will assign students to a group and together they will fill out the given planning page. Then, they will each write their own parts on a piece of paper during a team writing session. This can occur right after students complete their organizers or the following day. After the writing sessions, when all groups seem ready to begin rehearsing, give each group their own area of the room to practice and create their props in. Students will then perform their skits for the class!

A full color page with a drawing, vocabulary, and blank spaces for students to fill out.
