I use this print out with my lesson on The Water Cycle. After we have discussed The Water Cycle. I give every student a sheet of construction paper (large sheet). They craft the water cycle using these words. With beginning grades (K-1) skip the arrows (let them draw in themselves). Transpiration, and Accumulation can be left out as well for the earlier grades. Third grade and up we use everything on the sheet, and they cut words out themselves. It is simple, but very educational. First, the students cut out grass (or a lake depending on the grade level...Transpiration/Evaporation) and glue to the construction paper. For beginner grades I have everything cut out first, it will make the lesson less confusing for them. Use yellow construction paper for a sun, use cotton balls for the clouds and draw in some rain. Then instruct the students to cut out the words and arrows to "fill-in" and label their very own Water Cycle! Students love having their own water cycle to take home! Thank you!
