This set of three worksheets focuses on inference and characterization. Students are provided with a quote from the chapter and they must infer what personality characteristic is being described by that quote. It forces students to do higher level thinking and gets the used to using evidence from the text to support their answers. The worksheets are split into three sections of the book. One for chapters 1-3, one for chapters 4-6, and another for chapters 8-9. I've really liked using this activity with my students as a way to talk about the characters while they practice inference.
