Product Description
This packet can be used in conjunction or separately if the class is studying Totalitarian Governments and there rise to power and is watching the 1981 TV movie, The Wave. The film follows a true story of a class in 1960's California where the teacher sets up a class society that parallels the growth of the Nazi Party in Germany. The chart can be used for the students to write down their observations of the groups rules, structure, and the students' change in behavior and then compare it with those of Nazi Germany. The film questions are a direct way to ensure that your students are watching and understanding the film's content. These can be used as a formative assessment or the chart can be used to write a comparative analysis paper.
