Students will identify different feelings about school with these two options of writing pages. Option 1 includes frames for students to draw or write in things that make them feel happy, excited, proud, and worried when they think about school (may work best for younger students). Option 2 provides lines for students to write in their answers (older students may prefer this option). Use this as a self-reflection activity in the first days of school as you get to know your students, as a discussion tool for parent-teacher conferences, or an end of the year activity as students prepare to move on to the next grade level and a new teacher. Pair it with the book "The Way I Feel" by Janan Cain to further extend the learning.
