This is a set of two interactive/adapted books about emotions and feelings. Great for young learners and/or special education! Teach emotion vocabulary, critical thinking, even lessons in empathy.
The first book is picture-supported. Students read (or listen to a teacher read) a situation - and choose a picture icon depicting the emotion relating to that situation. "When ________, I feel ________." Use velcro to make the book interactive and re-usable!
The second book is text-based. Students read an emotion and identify a situation in which they would feel that emotion. "I feel ________ when ________." There are several possible ways to set up this book, using velcro to make it interactive and students choose between just two situations; laminating and using dry erase markers to identify the situation; or even using paper and pencil - and an option for students to describe their own situation that would result in the given emotion.
