This document is an adaptation/ translation of the book by Keith Faulkner called "The Wide-Mouthed Frog" into French. I simplified it for young learners and wrote it in play form so that my students could perform it as an end-of-the-year presentation for parents.
I used this document in conjunction with the English version of the book, printing it out, cutting it into strips, and sticking it to the pages in the book so that students could enjoy the illustrations as I read the story in French.
Also included are 4 worksheets that correspond with the story. The first two are pages of questions about the story. With young students, you may only wish to do these orally, depending on the level of the student. The other two pages have sentences from the story that students must copy and illustrate.
