6 Pairs of Text Synonyms with visuals-content/satisfied, grabbed/snatched, swept/lifted, whipped/whirled, pulled/plucked, tossed/threw

18 WH-Question cards: Who, What, When, Where

6 pair of compare and contrast cards-wig/hat, scarf/shirt, balloon/kite, flag/hanky, letters/newspapers, umbrella/hat. Students identify and describe how story items are alike ad how they are different (ex: A balloon and a kite both fly and have a string; a balloon can pop but a kite rips).

Draw and Write-Open ended writing paper Students write about a windy day

Articulation Word Lists for age-appropriate phonemes: /g/, /k/, /s/, /z/, /r/, /l/, and Blends.

Comprehension Dough Mats-included the 11 objects that the wind blew away. Targets words and articulation targets in multi-syllable words.
