A colourful, vibrant and interactive chart displaying the writing process that students need to follow. It includes six steps that guide students to create well written and edited work.
Once downloaded, cut each section out and display. I like to hole punch the bottom and top of each and put a split ring between them. This allows the chart to flow and look modern. Give each student a peg with their name on it.
As they journey along the writing process, students can move their peg. This allows you, as well as their peers, to see which stage each child is at. This is especially handy when they reach the peer editing stage as they can find another student at the same stage. This also means they are not distracting other students who are at different stages of the process.
As a teacher, this chart allows you to differentiate for your students. Offering modification, extension and assistance where needed.
