This activity involves students moving around the room responding to questions involving analysis of diction and syntax in short passages from "The Yellow Wallpaper." 12 total passages with questions are included. The nice thing about this activity is that students can elaborate on others' ideas. I provide students with about 15-20 minutes of "Desk Graffiti" and then spend the rest of the period discussing the passages/questions. Great activity for the AP classroom but can easily be used in an academic classroom.
