This was created for use in my Kindergarten classroom while studying bats for October/Halloween. It is a great addition to my $9.00 Word Family Unit Study. I will be including it in that resource as well so if you already purchased the Word Family Unit just visit your purchases and re-download it at NO extra charge. :)
This includes the following:
* Worksheet to complete with partner or as homework or to just display whole-group as an anchor chart (includes the following -at family words: bat (baseball), bat (animal), cat, fat, hat, mat, pat, rat, and sat.
* Worksheet that can be used as a cut-and-paste OR fill-in-the blank (your choice) the -at part of the word is already there, students need simply paste or write the correct beginning letter to make the word.
* Worksheet with the nine -at family words where students will simply color in the circle with the correct beginning sound of the words.
* Worksheet with the nine -at family words where students will have to write the words on their own. Great for an assessment or additional independent practice.
* Answer keys!
Any of these worksheets would make great morning or bell work, homework, and/or independent work.
They would also come in handy to leave for a substitute teacher as I have included answer keys so they can see what the completed worksheets should look like.
