K-3 students will have fun learning about the origins of one of everyone's favorite foods... chocolate! They'll learn about the origin and uses of chocolate in Mayan and Aztec culture. The language in the presentation is simple yet engaging for young kids. At the end, they'll be able to decorate styrofoam cups in Aztec form so that they can taste the original "hot chocolate". You'll need to prepare it at home but it's easy. Just use baker's chocolate, water and a little bit of spice like chili or paprika. You won't need to make much because the kids won't like it but that's part of the fun! (The fonts are showing up funny on the thumbnails. It looks better in the actual product.)
