This colourful Powerpoint introduces pupils to the simple future tense in Spanish.
Pupils are reminded of the conjugation of the verb ir, and how to add on an infinitive. Pupils are also shown what an infinitive is, as I have found that often this knowledge is lacking.
One slide shows a simple sentence in Spanish, with the English translation underneath, with arrows showing the links between the two.
This is then followed by a slide showing pupils the difference between using ir in the present tense and the future so as not to mix up the two.
The final two slides are exercises to practise learning of the simple future. The first of these provides a series of Spanish sentences with the English jumbled up for pupils to match up, the next is a series of sentences to translate.
