Description
Here is a hands-on, creative way for students to practice finding the THEME of a passage. This craftivity is great for centers, intervention, guided reading groups, or reinforcing what you have already taught. We absolutely love this craftivity because students will always remember that theme is THE MEssage!!
They will read a passage, determine the theme and highlight text evidence. The students will roll up the passage and place it in the bottle that matches its theme. This makes a great bulletin board display!

•Extension Activity: students are able to chose a theme and create a passage of their very own! They get to create their own message in a bottle!
