In my classroom, we talk about theme a lot. I enjoy discussing theme with my students because we can cover so many life lessons that teach us how to be good citizens.
I felt I needed a spot in my classroom where my students could reference the main themes we cover in class. After we read a story, I print out a picture of the book and we add it under the theme poster the book covered. You could also write the title of the book under its theme.
These posters were designed with white backgrounds so my students could easily read the posters on the bulletin board from at their seats. The posters look great and stand out against the bright paper that is covering my bulletin board.
This poster set comes in 4 different styles. (See preview for the exact looks.)
Each style has the same 14 common themes:
• Overcoming Challenges
• Good Triumphs Evil
Since I have limited space on my bulletin board, I made the posters smaller by printing 2 per page.
