This series of books introduces and develops the 'Technology Process' using themes that allow teachers to adopt a cross-curriculum approach. Technology involves purposeful application of knowledge, skills, equipment, materials, energy and data to create useful products. The Technology Process is a path set out for solving a problem. The interactive and cyclic model contained in the book enables teachers to guide students through the process. The process can be in a sequence starting with investigation, design, production, communication and concluding with evaluation.
