This activity provides an assessment for theme/moral in literature. It includes three tiers based on Bloom's Taxonomy (Understanding, Analysis, and Synthesis). Each tier gives students multiple chances to read short fables and determine the themes. Students then create posters, Venn Diagrams, or comic strips based on some of the stories they read.
This is an excellent resource for teachers who desire to provide more differentiation in their classrooms, or who want to incorporate more varied types of assessments.
