This engaging and kinaesthetic activity helps students review the themes in any literature text - novels, short stories, plays and poetry.
Students can mind map around individual / different themes, categorize the importance of a number of themes, link themes to characters and events, explore different interpretations.
There are 60 theme cards included (both color and blackline) plus a page of blank cards for you to write any additional ones to use.
Just print and go!
I have now laminated mine because I use them again and again!
= 60 theme cards (hexagon shaped)
= 1 page of blank cards (hexagon shaped)
Each hexagon shows a different theme that can be found in literature. The themes are generic, but not all of them will be applicable to every text.
I have included both black and white
versions of the themes. They can be printed and laminated for reuse or printed on paper or cardstock.
