This is a student-guided packet that we used to investigate the different types of probability. It has them create a survey, poll students, find theoretical and experimental probability. It also has them compare and contrast the two types of probability. Following the investigation on probability, the students then review four types of graphs: line, bar, stem-and-leaf, and pie. This packet includes examples, uses, and definitions of all graphs. They are given space to create their own and then have to answer some questions analyzing the graphs when they finish. This is a wonderful resource to use if you want to engage your students, give them choice over their learning, and review many concepts.
