This basic visual schedule/checklist works wonders in therapy. The client is able to choose activities and "checks" off each task. This improves sequencing, increases compliance, and helps manage behavior. The circles at the bottom are for the child to earn "smiley faces" towards a reward or time spent with a toy/game of choice. If the child earns 5 smiley faces by being "caught" working, following directions or participating, the child can choose a prize or reward of time spent playing their toy or game of choice. I like to make it fun by drawing silly faces and even letting the child draw the face!
