This book by Lucille Colandro is a favorite of children everywhere! This Reader's Theater will enable the children to enjoy the story even more as well as increase reading fluency and speaking skills.
There are roles for four students. I have also included nameplates. You may staple each one onto a strip of construction paper to make a headband. You might also hole-punch them, run a piece of yarn through the hole, and make a nametag necklace. (I would run the nameplates off on cardstock or white construction paper.)
Have fun, and feel free to change in any way that best suits your class.
