Retelling & Story Props: (page 5-10) Color and B/W versions are included. While telling the story allow your students to feed the old lady the items from pages 10 & 11.
Sequencing: (pages 12-15) Color & BW versions are included. Have your students cut out the vocabulary and sequence the events from the story onto page 12.
Comprehension Questions & Retelling Mat: (pages 16-19) There are three levels included. Attach the question cards to the retelling mat (page 16). As your students answer the questions, have them remove the card to reveal parts of the mat. Once all of the cards have been removed, the mat can be used to retell the story. A worksheet targeting WH questions is included on page 20.

Matching: (page 23) Have your students draw a line from what the lady ate to the reason she ate it.
Old Lady Bingo: (pages 24-26) These boards can be used for identifying vocabulary from the story, identifying by description, describing, etc.
Cut & Paste Rhymes: (page 27) Have your students cut out the words at the bottom of the page and match to their rhyming pair.
Rhyming Match-ups: (pages 28-30) Place cards face down on the table. Have your students take turns flipping the cards over looking for rhyming pairs. The student with the most pairs at the end of the game is the winner.
What sound do I start with?: (pages 31) Have your students draw a card, say the word, then identify what sound the word begins with.
Following Directions with Basic Concepts: (page 32) Have your students follow the directions at the bottom of the page.
Temporal Concepts: (page 33) Print, laminate, and cut on the dotted line. Place the top portion of the page in front of your student, then use the bottom portion to provide the directions.
Prepositions: (page 34-35) The footballs on page 35 can be used receptively or expressively. Expressively: Hide the footballs around your room and have your students find them, then tell where the football was using prepositional phrases. Receptively: Give your student a football and tell them where to place the football.
