The silly Old Lady has returned just in time for the first day of school!
This unit is meant to be used with, “There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books” by Lucille Colandro. Book not included, please buy or borrow from your library.
What Should I Use This For?
I've created this book companion to "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books" as a fun beginning-of-the-school-year unit. It involves minimal prep and can address a wide range of speech and language goals. It also includes lots of "Back To School" vocabulary as an extra learning objective.
Each of my Old Lady units follow a predictable pattern of activities which means less time reading directions and learning how to use the unit. Once you've used your first one, you will know what to expect on the other units. Repeating activities between Old Lady units makes tracking student progress a breeze.
