If you love that cooky old lady with her weird cravings than you are in luck! This bundle has comprehension books for all of the 'There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed...' books by Lucille Colandro. Books covered are:
-There was an old lady who swallowed some books
-There was an old lady who swallowed some leaves
-There was an old lady who swallowed a bat
-There was an old lady who swallowed a bell
-There was a cold lady who swallowed some snow
-There was an old lady who swallowed a clover

-There was an old lady who swallowed a chick
-There was an old lady who swallowed a shell
-There was an old lady who swallowed a fly
How to Use:
As you read the story, you can stop every page or so and ask the corresponding questions. After students state their answer, they can remove the question mark to reveal a picture of the correct response. This flexible activity can also be used to target pronouns and other goals.
There is also a Puzzle activity included for the following books: Bat, Bell, Fly, Books, Snow, and Leaves. This can be used as an reinforcement activity, giving the students a piece of the puzzle after answering a question, or as an activity that can be done after the story.
Each comprehension book comes with:
-10 pages of WH-Questions ( one question per page ) that follows the 'There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed...' stories by Lucille Colandro.
- Question mark cover cards
- Puzzle pieces and mat for the following books: Bat, Bell, Fly, Books, Snow, and Leaves
This activity does not include the book any of the 'There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed ... ', it is simply an interactive comprehension companion to it. You will need to purchase the books separately.
