Description

This free companion activity goes great with all of the "There Was an Old Lady..." stories.

Suggestions for Use
- This is a great activity to use with any of the “old lady” stories. You can have your students write/draw directly in the mouth, or they can color pictures on the grids provided and glue them into the mouth area.
- Use the larger squares to feed the boy or girl on the worksheet. Have your students draw their target items on the larger squares and cut a slit in the mouth of the visuals. Have your students slide their pictures through the mouths to “feed” their worksheet character.
- You can have your students draw pictures of things that they like, items mentioned in the story, or items from a specific category. The list goes on!
- You can adapt this activity to target a number of goals and it’s also great as a “getting to know you” activity for the beginning of the year!
