These picture cards can be cut apart and used in a pocket chart, cut apart, hole-punched and put on a metal binder ring, or bound and used as a picture dictionary. They are great for teaching vocabulary and can be used at a writing center as a reference for students as they are writing and / or a springboard for writing ideas.

I recommend running the project on cardstock for durability. I also recommend laminating, again for durability. If you choose to make a picture dictionary, I recommend using a binding machine and binding combs. I use a larger than necessary binding comb for students to avoid having the dictionaries come apart.
