Animated Step-by-Steps® are animated PowerPoints designed to address literacy, language, AAC and a host of academic goals. Each page includes a series of animations. Read the text up to the star … click … and see an animation of what you just read.
There are three versions of each resource. This is the Regular Version ( non symbol-supported).
There's a Hole in the Bucket is a time honored favourite!
Liza wants Henry to fetch her some water but unfortunately there is a hole in the bucket. The song moves toward a frustrating circular conclusion: Can't fetch water because there's a hole in the bucket … Can't stuff the hole with straw because the straw is too long …. Can't cut the straw with an axe beause the axe is too dull … Can't sharpen the axe on a stone because the stone is too dry … Can't wet the stone with water because THERE'S A HOLE IN THE BUCKET!
The resource also includes an alternate, non-animated version (4 verses per page). When using the 'alternate version' the student can touch the verse and that verse will be sung. This conveniently allows two students to assume the two back and forth roles.
This resource can be displayed on the 'big screen' (interactive whiteboard, large screen TV using Apple TV) or the 'small screen' (computer monitor, iPad/Android tablet using the free Microsoft PowerPoint app).
