Looking for a Dr. Seuss activity to do during Read Across America Week? This class-made book is perfect! Read "There's a Wocket in My Pocket" by Dr. Seuss or listen online (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZXGxi7dWwQ). After reading, have each student complete a book page using 2 rhyming words. Then assemble into a class book (title page included). I let one of my students color the title page for us since it's in black and white. I've also included clip art of wockets and pockets if students want to use those on their book page or use them for a craft during the week. Encourage your students to be creative with their rhyming words! Enjoy!
*All in black and white for an ink-friendly document*
