Energy Transfer Teaching Worksheets - Guided Lessons on Conduction, Convection and Radiation
Experiment One: Ice, Ice, Baby - Students will experience conduction and build their skills using the Scientific Method.
Experiment Two: Conductor or Insulator - Students will test materials to define them as conductors or insulators. They will also continue to use the Scientific Method to record findings.
Experiment Three: Lights On - Students will test light bulbs to measure the thermal energy radiating from each. They will also continue to use the Scientific Method to record findings.
Assessments - Two unit-end quizzes and a rubric to mark the unit as a whole. (Also included, a blank unit to add your own criteria by hand).
