This resource contains three thermal energy experiments to be used when studying physical science and different energy forms. The first activity uses styrofoam cups to test their effectiveness as thermal insulators. The second activity tests different materials as thermal insulators, and the third compares heat absorption of white and black cups. Materials, procedures and result tables are all provided. Custom graph paper is provided for the first activity.
All physical science resources are aligned with NGSS.
