Product Description
I designed this series of worksheets to teach my students how to (1) read thermometers, (2) use the temperature to determine if it is hot, warm, cool, or cold, and (3)use the temperature to determine the type of precipitation that will fall.

I have created a powerpoint presentation to go along with these worksheets. You can download it Here

There are 5 days' worth of worksheets.
Day 1- Reading a thermometer (Fahrenheit only)
Day 2- Reading a thermometer and determining if it is hot, warm, cool, or cold using a labeled thermometer (to see what I mean by labeled thermometer, take a look at the thumbnails).
Day 3- Reading a thermometer and determining if it is hot, warm, cool, or cold using a regular thermometer.
Day 4- Reading a thermometer, determining if it is hot, warm, cool, or cold, and determining the type of precipitation that will fall using a labeled thermometer
Day 5- Reading a thermometer, determining if it is hot, warm, cool, or cold, and determining the type of precipitation that will fall using a regular thermometer

The worksheets are differentiated. There are two different versions for several of the worksheets.

I designed these worksheets for my high school special education students; however, would work well with any grade level.

I designed this for my students who are participating in the NYSAA (New York state alternate assessment). The worksheets will teach them the skills required for 2 different AGLIs: use a tool to measure a weather condition (93132), and describe the relationship between differences in heating and weather (93133)
