Following the engaging, interactive style of my other PowerPoints this one introduces the concept of the thesis statement. It includes specific explanation of what a thesis statement is, as well as interactive questioning and activities to hold students accountable for the information being presented. This PowerPoint is a great way to introduce the thesis statement, or to review its concepts with students who may have "forgotten" them somewhere along the way! It can also be easily edited to emphasize different aspects or elements of the thesis statement that you prefer to teach.
