Product Description
They're, Their, and There Sentence Game
The sentences are all fish themed. It requires only colored counters and the game board and cards that are included.
Game Directions
This game can have 2-4 players and will require colored counters (a different color for each player).
Print a game board for each group of players. Cut out and print a deck of sentence cards for each group of players. Print an answer key for each group as well.
Place the deck of sentence cards (32 cards) face down. Place the answer key face down. Players take turns picking a card. Once a card is picked, the player reads the sentence out loud and decides which homophone (their, there, they’re) fits in the blank within the sentence. They spell out their choice.
The player to their left checks the player’s answer using the answer key (just match the number of the card with the answer key).
If the player picks the correct answer, they place one of their counters on a fish that matches their answer. If they do not pick the correct answer, then it is the next player’s turn.
Once a player has four counters placed in a row (horizontal or vertical) they win the game.
