If you’d like an awesome mini-kit for Things Fall Apart, then you’ve come to the right place!
Creating “foundational” content can be very time-consuming (especially if the book isn’t all that enjoyable, like this one, haha), and this package alleviates that problem.
Here’s what’s included in this kit:
-TFA Book Setup (.doc). Students were to write this on the inside covers of their novels. This revealed how students were going to “work their way through the text” by being active readers.
-TFA Reading Schedule (.doc). This is a calendar that showed when all the readings (and assignments) would be completed and due. (This, right here, is probably worth the entire price of the bundle. Talk about a time-saver! All the chunking and assignments are already broken down for you! There’s an hour of your time saved! Just change the dates on the calendar! Voila!)
-TFA Reading Check Quizzes (.doc). There is one quiz (3-5 questions) for EACH chunk of reading as reflected in the reading schedule.
-TFA Lit Circle Overview (.doc). Have you ever done a Lit Circle before? It’s an OTES evaluation DREAM. Total differentiation on like 5 different levels. This gives the overview and dates and everything. (Even though you’ll need to do some tweaking, this alone is probably worth the price of the kit.)
-TFA Written Response 1 (.doc). Here’s a written response to be used about halfway through the novel.
-TFA Written Response 2 (.doc). Here’s another written response to be used after the novel’s end.
-CEI Rubric (PDF). Here’s a SIMPLE rubric to use with each written response assignment.
-Leo Multi-Paragraph Graphic Organizer (PDF). This is a graphic organizer for students to use while completing their writing assignments.
*Sorry, no multiple-choice test with this one. That’s part of the reason why the price is lower. (The other part is that I despise the novel, haha.) *
