How often does a teacher say to choose a partner to turn and talk to. Think Pair Share is a great way to get students talking about what they have learned. It can often cause chaos in a classroom full of students and can even cause tears for those who can't find a partner. These clocks are an answer to that time waster. Each student has a clock and on Monday of the week, you ask them to find a 6:00 partner, a 3:00 partner, and so one. When it comes time to "Turn and Talk", you can say, "Turn and Talk to your 9:00 partner". This concept helps the students have more variety of partners, eliminates sadness and time wasting.
