These print-outs are great for managing think-pair-share and cooperative group work within the classroom. This product is designed for a classroom where students sit in clusters of 4 or 6. Simply place one small rectangle in the center corner of each desk cluster so that the four small rectangles form one sheet of paper (as seen). Each rectangle clearly identifies for students who their shoulder partner is, who their face partner is, what their number is, and color. You can then instruct students to discuss ideas with a specific partner, or call up one person from each group by their number: “Will all the 3s please get the supplies.” You can also easily split the class into two groups by asking for all “odds” or “evens.”
Furthermore, the color circles on each of the four sheets rotates around on each set so you can easily make 4 groups with all levels of achievement. For example, if you have all the “greens” get together you will have at least one 4, one 3, one 2, and one 1.
Please view the preview to see how I arrange my students based on their academic levels in an effort to maximize their potential. I hope you find this product useful!
