Product Description
This is a powerpoint set of slides with simple statements that encourage students to think creatively. They are asked to think of objects which match a criteria. An example is 'Name something that grows but does not get taller."

It can be used as a discussion starter, in a game situation or extension work.

The key to thinking creatively in this task is allowing students an opportunity to justify their thinking - it is amazing how creative they can be! It is also important for them to see there can be multiple answers to the same criteria as long as they can explain and justify their ideas. The extension could be to challenge them to "Name Something Else!"

It is a good lesson starter to get warmed up. It is also a good task to help students notice the importance of listening to others' ideas and taking turns.
