BUNDLE Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) Tools for School Counseling

In counseling sessions using cognitive behavioral strategies, students need to begin to identify what kinds of errors they make when thinking about situation that lead to negative behavior. You can use it as a way to teach kids about the thinking errors, then use it in follow-up activities by having the child identify the thinking error that a person is making in a scenario or they made in their real life.

They can be used with students in second grade through upper elementary school. I use these during scheduled counseling sessions and also when I’m doing any sort of “emergency” problem solving.

Included in the package
✎ 15 Kid Friendly Cards of typical Thought Errors.
✎ Upper Elementary Picture Variations for select cards
✎ Cards without pictures
✎ Cards without examples, so that you can customize them yourself.
✎ Blank cards to make your own.
✎ Cards include an example of a situation/negative thought a student might experience.
✎ A list explaining each thought error.
✎ Can be used in coordination with other cognitive behavioral tools.
