This is a collection of editable worksheets that center on Thinking Maps. You can also use these as posters in the classroom. I have included the labels for this purpose.
I use the maps constantly in my classroom, because I can edit them to fit my needs. They are also a great way to start teaching students the way to make and use the maps to brainstorm, generate and/or organize ideas; before having students make their own. These worksheets are great to use with writer’s workshop, reader’s workshop, reader’s response centers, quick pre/post assessment of knowledge, etc. They can be used and adapted to fit all of you teaching needs.
I have also included a Story Flow Map that I use constantly with my 3rd grades for retelling.
Note: If you want to add your own text, simply add a text box in areas you would like to place your own labels, titles, directions, etc.
