These Thinking Maps were designed to spruce up the Thinking Maps that came with the curriculum. Titles were purposefully left off of the maps to make it easier when testing time comes. In our state, we're able to display the maps as long as the words are covered up. Having titles on separate pages (to be posted along with the maps) makes that task of covering nearly every square inch of your wall a little easier come testing time.
A colored copy of the maps with the chevron background are meant to be printed on white paper. I also included an ink-friendly black and white version that would look striking on its own or great on colored paper. They can also be printed for ready-made maps for kids to fill out as they are learning how to use them.
